With a more favorable filming environment compared to Mainland China, Hong Kong is positioning itself as a future hub for co-productions. The city is working on a new co-production funding scheme designed specifically for the coproduction with Europe.

In this context, in partnership with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), Bridging the dragon is organizing a European mission to the Hong Kong FILMART (11 - 14 March 2024), the largest marketplace in Asia for the entertainment industry. Approximately 15 European film producers and institutional representatives from different countries would take part to the initiative. The aim of the trip is to offer to the delegates an insight of the growing Asian content industry, matchmaking opportunities, contacts with local institutions, in order to develop further cooperation.
